A Quiet Eye

for ATMOSPHERE

I’m Charlotte (b. 1993, Belgium), an architect by training and a photographer drawn to atmosphere.

I look for the quiet moments in a space: the light that lingers, the textures that soften a room, the stillness that makes you feel at home.

Today I photograph hotels and the spaces where people come to rest, places designed to make you feel something the moment you walk in. I capture them the way they’re truly experienced: softly, honestly, with an eye for mood and detail.

Sometimes people step into my lens too, seen in the same quiet way. Not forced, not rushed, but witnessed. The same sensitivity, just a different subject.

I believe beauty works best when it whispers.

If my images stay with you, it’s because they feel like memories, atmospheric, soft, and deeply human.

  • A calm presence, an eye for atmosphere, and a process that never feels rushed. I guide when needed, step back when it’s better, and always look for that honest, quiet moment a space or a person naturally offers. You’ll receive images that feel like memories, soft, atmospheric, deeply human.

    What can you expect?

Absolutely. Many of the spaces I photograph are abroad, so travelling is a natural part of my work. I’m always happy to pack my bags, and often my partner Artun joins me, bringing his quiet eye for detail and technical support.

Whether your project is near or far, I can meet you there.

    Wherever the story takes us.

  • From luxury hotels to ...quiet moments in between

I photograph hotels, guest houses, interiors and the spaces where people come to rest.

I also photograph people, quietly, naturally, and with the same sensitivity.

Each project is tailored, so the final offer reflects what you need: imagery, mood, detail, storytelling, or a combination of all.

  • Let’s make it official.

You can reach out through the "book now" button or send me an email with a few details about your project.

From there, we discuss your needs, scheduling and the best approach for your space or session.

For hospitality projects in terms of process, I usually start with a short call or send over an introduction questionnaire to understand what you’re looking for and what your expectations are. From there, I prepare a tailored proposal for you to review. Once everything is agreed upon, I send over a contract, and we align on the final creative brief.  After the shoot, I handle all post-production and deliver a curated online gallery, ready for use.

  • Delivery for people projects usually takes between 3 and 4 weeks, depending on the scale of the project.

For hotels and larger spaces, a more detailed timeline is agreed upon beforehand.

Good things take time, but not too much.

  • Of course. Every project includes a curated selection edited in my signature style.

If you need small adjustments, we can always refine the final images together.

    Your style, my lens.

  • Life happens. Cancellations are possible, preferably with as much notice as possible.

For hotels and larger commissions, the terms are outlined in the proposal. For personal sessions a notice before 48h is requested and then we simply reschedule when needed.

    Life happens, I get it.

  • Most of my hotel projects are planned several weeks to months ahead, but I always keep space for last-minute requests when possible.

For personal sessions, 2-3 weeks is often enough for weekdays,  though weekends fill up quickly.

Booking now is always the best ;)

  • I focus mainly on photography.

For hotels that also need a touch of movement, small video moments or atmospheric clips, I’m happy to explore what’s possible.
